One Hundred Tales of Magi-Sinbad

Sinbad quite couldn't understand how (Name), you, were immune to his charms. The answer was a lot simpler than the High King of the Seven Seas thought of; a broken heart. The worst thing in the world was the feeling of an aching heart either it be from wanting to be near someone or ripped out and shattered into a million of pieces. Love was suffocating and it was a suffocation that you wanted to avoid at all coast. Too bad your heart wouldn't listen to you brain.

Sinbad first fell in love with you when he heard you singing. Many people compared your voice to that of an angel yet most of the time it was sorrowful. He wanted to know what fool make a beautiful creature like you so…broken and he wanted to punish that fool.

It took a while but you got over the painful memories the rage that you felt every-time you saw him with her laughing and smiling. Yet you still wondered why her. She wasn't beautiful and had no real talents; she was someone who would stab you in the back.

"(Name)?"

You glanced over seeing a tall man around 6'0" with tanned skin. He had golden colored eyes and long purple hair kept tied back into a ponytail. He wore purple and white robes and a white turban on his head and a lot of jewelry. This man was Sinbad the king of Sindria and the person currently trying to court you. Perhaps you were a fool for not falling for his advances, you could be his queen and he could give you everything, yet you were so hesitate about getting hurt again.

In one of his many attempts to get to know you better, to get closer to you, he followed you to the market place. "Y-Yes?" You nervously glanced over at the purpled haired king as he starred down at you with worriment.

After all these months you didn't expect to see your x lover in Sindria. It was the reason why you moved to Sindria to get away from him and all your troubles. Sinbad reached out and moved a piece of your hair out of your face "You're shivering are you okay?" He asked cupping your face. Sinbad was a good friend, so good a friend that you couldn't lie to him.

"N-no…I thought I was finally over that jackass." You answered. Sinbad chocked an eyebrow but he understood what was bothering you. He always did. "I can escort you back to the palace if you want."

"N-no I have to face this sooner or later." You took in a deep breath. Sinbad thought you were the bravest girl he knew. Instead of running away you always tried to confront fears and obstacles and that was something he wanted in a queen.

"(Name) is that you?" An all too familiar voice called out. You turned around and your frightful expression that you showed Sinbad movements ago was replaced by a more serious expression. "(x's name)…you look well." You smiled. Sinbad knew the difference between your actual smiles and your fake ones and this one was fake.

"Yeah! Haven't seen you a long time so this is where you ran off to." (x's name) gave you one of his charming grins. "Don't even start with me (x's name) you lost your chance the moment you left me for that thing you call a woman." You splat out.

"(Name), babe I've realized my-"

You let out a squeak as Sinbad put an arm around your waist, he turn your face and pressed softly against the corner of your mouth. As you stood there shocked Sinbad gave your x a smug grin "Men like you never change besides she's already spoken for. Now if I were you I'd be moving along."

"Moving along? Are you ordering me around who do you think you are the king of Sindria?" (x's name) growled. Sinbad's eyes darkened and a completely foreign expression took over his features, it was a mixture of cockiness and anger.

"Actually I am the King of Sindria."

"I see…you're a whore you know that (Name). It hasn't even been a year and you're already friendly with a king? You're nothing but a gold digger!" (x's name) laughed pointing a finger at you. "Actually she's been rejecting all my advances but you know that makes me want to try harder and succeed were you failed so terribly at."

You could feel your checks burning up as Sinbad went on. "I hope you can live with yourself."

"What do you mean? Live with myself?" He grumbled "Loosing the most beautiful, understanding, headstrong, creative, sensitive and caring woman on the earth." Sinbad picked you up bridal style and turned around and began walking off towards his palace.

"I could have him kicked out of Sindria."

"No its fine…" You closed your eyes as Sinbad continued to walk down the streets. You placed your hand against his chest and closed your eyes. Sinbad glanced down and smiled; finally he was getting through to you.
